Non-profit: Walking - $ 75 Car/Truck - $100 Float - $150
The 41st Annual Illuminated Night Parade will be held in Downtown Providence starting at 8:00pm on Saturday, June 17th 2017. Parade registrations must be completed and paid by Wednesday, June 7th. Parade assignments will be released on Sunday, June 11th to the email provided on your registration.
The purpose Rhode Island Pride Illuminated Night Parade is to promote a positive and safe environment to celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ community. Participants are to conduct themselves in a manner that is positive and respectful for all. Participants are asked to show respect for all genders, ages, races, cultures, faiths and sexual orientations and be aware that children will be in attendance during the parade. Costumes and other apparel worn in the parade must comply with applicable state and city obscenity and public decency regulations. Sexual paraphernalia, genital or phallic representations and/or real or simulated sexual acts are prohibited. Participants will refrain from using obscene gestures, profanity or other improper conduct toward other participants or spectators.
Payments by credit or debit card can be made at the end of the registration form by selecting “credit or debit”. Participants who choose to pay by check or money order will receive an invoice to the email address provided in the registration form. Please note: invoices can take 24-48 hours to be generated. Check or money orders should be sent to PO Box 1082 Providence, RI 02901 with a printed copy of the registration confirmation or invoice.
Pre-registration pricing is valid until Sunday, April 9th 2017. Registrations and/or payments received after Sunday, April 9th are subject to pay the “regular” price. Participants must be paid in full and have all the necessary paperwork present (such as driver’s license, proof of insurance) in order to participate in the parade.
