SITE AND TIME
The Rhode Island PrideFest location is along the Providence Waterfront on South Water Street.

SPACE/BOOTH
Vendor may acquire a 10’ x 10’, 20’ x 10’ site (or additional combinations) or may have a push cart in a designated spot on the festival grounds. The costs are:

Rental includes one table and two chairs per site.

SPACE SELECTION: The new layout of the RI PrideFest is still under review. As a result we will be in contact with each vendor that has submitted thair application as to space selection.
SALES TAX
• Permits - Vendors must provide a copy of their RI Sales Tax Permit. If vendor does not have a regular permit a temporary sales tax permit may be obtained from RI Pride for the day of event. A fee to $10 is charged by the state to issue the permit, collected by RI Pride. Payment for the permit is to be made to RI Pride. Vendors needing a temporary permit must inform the Pride Office not later than June 1, 2013. The temporary license will be provided the day of the event.Vendors giving away products or conducting a raffle do not need a sales tax permit.

• Taxes - Vendors are required to collect 7% state sales tax. If you have a temporary sales tax permit for the day you need to submit at the close of the Festival a completed form and a check (cash cannot be accepted) for the sales tax collected. A RI Pride staff person will collect the tax from you at a designated location. If you have a regular sales tax permit you do not pay the collected sales tax to RI Pride at the end of the festival.
SET-UP AND OPERATIONS
Set-up on the day of event will be between 8:00 and 11:30 a.m. All vendors are to check in at the Vendor Registration table upon arrival. Tents are available to rent and will be picked up upon check-in. Vendors are responsible for tent setup, take down and returning tents to receive their $25 refund. Information about unloading and loading at the end of the festival will be provided in early June. No vehicles will be permitted to be on the grounds or at vendor sites. RI Pride cannot provide wa- ter or electricity to the vendor sites. Information about vendor sites will be available at a later date at which time vendors may indicate their choice of location in the festival grounds.
TRASH REMOVAL
Vendors are responsible for the removal of their own trash/garbage from their booth site and clean up their site. Dumpsters will be provided.
DEADLINES
Applications with payment of all fees and other materials are due to RI Pride by June 7, 2013. Payment by Check payable to RI Pride, credit card or cash. Mail application to: P.O.
